Thomas Preindl is a research associate at the Media Interaction Lab, working in the field of electronic textiles and developing textile pressure and touch sensors. He completed his masters in Interactive Media at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and studied Digital Art and Technology at Plymouth University, UK. In his art practice, he conducts sonic explorations, develops computer games, thinks about the physical representation of digital data and continuously deepens his knowledge in the field of cocktail robotics. In 2020 and 2021 he co-curated the Media Art Festivals Roboexotica and Hedonistika in Linz.
